I’ve often wondered, does being overweight make you tired?. In my recent years I have both increased in size and decreased in energy levels. Is this some sort of coincidence or is it a direct side effect of putting on more pounds than you probably should during the year. I have recently started using exercise machines for bigger people as I was told that this can help with energy levels. But that just seems to work momentarily on me. That is, while I’m actually exercising. To make matters worse, most of the time it seems like I’m gaining weight rather than losing it. Ongoing battle right.

Well if you’re anything like me, you probably find yourself feeling exhausted throughout the day. Right after waking up, feel slow to move (not too mention painful) and get started with your daily responsibilities. Millions of people across the globe suffer from this exact problem every day, and the reason behind it isn’t as complex as I first thought. There’s a growing body of evidence showing that overweight individuals like myself tend to feel tired most of the time. If the number on the weighing scale is much larger than it should be, then you may want to take the necessary steps to lose weight so you can be productive once again. Easier said than done right. But never giving up and keeping motivated is key to success.
Everybody knows that a sedentary lifestyle can lead to weight gain. Sitting in the couch all day won’t do you any favors if you want to burn excess calories. I’m a true testament to this. Not the couch so much, but working behind the computer all day is not exactly considered exercise now is it.
